Dear Potential New Member,
My name is Madeleine Gucer, and this year I have the honor of serving as Alpha Gam’s Vice President of Recruitment! First of all, welcome to the University of Georgia! I am thrilled that you will be joining us in the fall and beginning such a special new chapter of your life!
Alpha Gam has by far been the biggest blessing of my college experience, and I can confidently say it is the best decision I have ever made. It has brought me lifelong friends, countless memories, and my home away from home. To say that I am grateful for this sisterhood would be an understatement, and I would not be the woman I am today without it.
I know how intimidating the recruitment process can be (I’ve been there too), but this is a time filled with opportunity and growth. It is the beginning of some of the most genuine and meaningful friendships! As cliche as it may sound, my biggest advice is to remain grounded in who you are. Give yourself grace, lean into the moment, and trust that you will find the place that feels like home. But most importantly, remember to have fun! Take in every conversation and new connection, embrace the excitement, and make the most of your experience!

Members including actives and alumnae, as well as non-members are encouraged to submit a Recruitment Information form for Potential New Members who embody our values. RIFs have replaced our previous Recommendation Form—also known as a "rec."
Recruitment Information Forms are not a requirement—nor do they guarantee membership—but they are beneficial to our chapter when filled out as completely as possible.

Dear PNMs,
Our names are Isabella Machado and Sam Elliot and we have the absolute blessing to serve as Gamma Alpha’s Vice Presidents of New Member Experience! Firstly, we are so excited to welcome you to your new home and for each of you to experience life as a Dawg as you walk through your freshman year. Secondly, we want to acknowledge how intimidating your first year can seem, but we want you to know that it will truly be something beautiful. We hope that we can shed some light on college life and give each of your grace as you begin to find yourselves in this new chapter of life.
The New Member Team strives to make this transitional time one where you feel an immense amount of love being poured onto you. There is no doubt that Alpha Gamma Delta and UGA have shaped us into the women we are today. We undoubtedly would not be here without the support and guidance from that of our sisters, and we hope to foster the same environment for each of our new members.
